Facebook has taken down two videos posted by ABC News programme Four Corners exposing the horrific abuse of teenage boys in a Northern Territory juvenile facility for containing child nudity.According to Sally Neighbour, the executive producer of Four Corners, the videos reportedly included a promotional clip and a "highlights package" of the show's Monday (25 July) night programme.Revealing the abuse of teenage boys at Don Dale detention in Darwin, the videos posted on Monday included disturbing footage of forceful stripping, gassing, boys being held in isolation and a teenage boy strapped in a mechanical chair.

Facebook wants to be in the news business, but it's finding that being a media platform is harder than it looks.On Monday evening, ABC news program Four Corners delivered a report that detailed the shocking abuse of child detainees in the Northern Territory.It included footage of teenagers being tear gassed and one boy being bound in a manner that would not look out of place in Guantanamo Bay, and the outlet shared a number of those clips on Facebook.

Facebook has confirmed it removed graphic footage from ABC's Four Corners program of children being assaulted and mistreated at a Northern Territory youth detention centre.The vision, which aired on Four Corners on Monday night, showed a teenage boy being handcuffed and hooded and strapped to a mechanical chair.Four Corners' producer Sally Neighbour said on Twitter she was "flabbergasted" to learn Facebook had censored the videos.
