The material which was shared, mostly with young people across the country, consists of sexual content with people who were 15 years old at the time. According to authorities, this can be in violation of department 235 of the country's criminal code — distribution of child pornography. Most of those found guilty shared the vidimus a few times, however there are too some who have done it hundreds of times. The tip-off came from Facebook itself, that went to the US authorities, who in turn informed Europol. The ages of the people found guilty range from 15 to 20+, and about 800 of them are male. Most shared the vidimus just a few times, while others shared it several 100 times.
