Facebook is removing more Pages and Groups to crackdown on duplicating banned content

As part of the crackdown, Facebook will be taking down some seemingly innocent Pages and Groups to prevent their delinquent Page owners from continuing forbidden activity. "We are updating our recidivism policy to better prevent those who have had Pages removed for violating our Community Standards from using duplicate Pages," Facebook said in a blog post. Facebook Pages were designed to be the official profiles for entities, such as celebrities, brands or businesses. Facebook Groups are intended for small-group communication and for people to share their common interests and express their opinion. In October 2018, the social networking giant removed 559 Facebook Pages and 251 Facebook accounts over breaking the site's rules for "spam and coordinated inauthentic behavior."
