- Facebook appears to be experiencing a number of major problems this evening.The US social network is not working for a thousands of users across the UK, according to reports across social media.Independent website DownDetector.uk, which monitors "when services go down or have outages", reported a spike in the number of people complaining about outages for Facebook, which started around 5.15pm GMT and things still appear to down 30 minutes later.
